The Solo women’s group dined at Cabo Mexican restaurant .

The January Afternoon Movie group met at Regal Cinemas and watched ‘The Boys in the Boat.’ Afterwards , they dined at Panera Bread.

The Out-To-Lunch group met at Ford’s Garage in Noblesville for great conversation and food !

On November 21st Explore Indiana went to jail. The Hamilton County Jail specifically. Fortunately, they were released after an informative tour. Then, lunch at Ford’s Garage.

The Last Minute Ladies did a lunch and tour at the DeHaan estate, former home of renowned philanthropist Christel DeHaan . The new owners , Restoration Hardware , recently opened the estate to the public on November 17 th . What an amazing place !

The NC Golf league on their final Tuesday of the season . The theme was your favorite sports team .

The Friday Morning Walking Group took a trip to Brown County State Park to see the beautiful fall colors and hike through the park.

Explore Indiana visited Samara, a Frank Lloyd Wright designed house in West Lafayette. Most of the original design elements are still present. Frank Lloyd Wright even joined us for our group photo.

Explore Indiana had a fun tour of the Kelley Agricultural Historical Museum in Sharpsville, IN . Mike Kelley lead a tour of the property that has been in his family for over 100 year. On the tour was an 1880s school house, 1880s log cabin (originally from Carmel) , an original round barn , and many pieces of antique farm equipment and household appliances.

2023-2024 Fall Kick-Off

The new 2023-2024 season started with the Fall Kick-Off on August 27th. We had over 100 ladies come to the Wilfong Pavilion at Founders Park .

What a turn out and a great way to start the season ! Many thanks to Judy Purgason who thought of the idea a few years ago and the ladies that organized this year’s the event .

Peru Circus Festival

The Explorers Group’s July event was a fun trip to Peru Circus Festival. Every year in Peru, Indiana, about 200 young people ages 7-21 present 10 circus performances during an 8-day festival. Dating back to the late 1800s, many of the country’s most famous circuses over-wintered a few miles south of Peru. That area is now home to the famous International Circus Hall of Fame.

Sign up for the September luncheon and renew your dues if you haven’t done that yet . This is always a fun event and we hope you’ll join us on August 27th .

Summer Activities Group Events

While some activity groups took a breather over the summer, there are plenty of groups that kept busy . The Last Minute Ladies started the summer with a trip to the circus in Sheridan , Indiana.

Also , they enjoyed a beautiful afternoon at Ricks Cafe Boatyard and took in a Swing Shift concert at Lion Park , Zionsville .

The Explorer group was busy as well. They travelled to the exotic Feline Rescue Center in Center Point , Indiana .

The Solo Woman’s group enjoyed a night at the Jazz Kitchen .

Also , they gathered at Conner Prairie for Symphony on the Prairie with fireworks .

The Friday walkers hiked Holiday Park enjoying the woods, the Ruins and the Nature center .

Later, they ventured farther from home to visit the Kankakee Sands Nature Preserves to view the Bison as well as other wildlife .

Finishing the trip with a lunch at Fair Oak Farms.

The Newcomers Golf League showed their pride by wearing red , white and blue .

Even though the Page Turner book group took the summer off , they still got together for lunch and book discussion.
