From One of Our Newer Members "I joined Newcomers 3 1/2 years ago when I moved to Indianapolis. I wanted to meet people and make friends. A friend from my church said that I should join Newcomers, and she was right. Newcomers is a great way to meet people and make friends while enjoying a variety of activities. I have thoroughly enjoyed and continue to enjoy many activities including the Bibliophiles book group, Canasta, Euchre, Bunco, Newcomers’ Golf League, Explore, the Afternoon Movie Group, and Last Minute Ladies, just to name a few. And, the guest speakers at the General Meetings/Luncheons are entertaining and informative. I’ve met so many wonderful people that have become friends. Newcomers welcomed me and made me feel at home." –Barbara Needleman MEMBER SINCE 2020 | From One of Our Older Members "I joined Newcomers because I was looking for a way to meet people in an area where I knew only a few. – Sue Schlifke |
