As Co-Presidents of the Newcomers Club of Carmel this year, we welcome you to our club’s website and invite you to become a member of this friendly, vibrant, fun-loving organization.  You are welcome to join us whether you’re new to the Carmel and surrounding area, or if you’ve lived here for years and enjoy meeting new people.  The Newcomers Club of Carmel has something to offer everyone.

For over 50 years, The Newcomers Club of Carmel has provided opportunities for members to connect, learn, and enjoy the friendship of now over 220 members.  Some of our activities are:

Afternoon Movies*, Book Clubs*, Bunco*, Bridge*, Canasta*, Casual Cooks*, Current Events*, Dominoes*, Explorer Group*, Golf*, Euchre*, Family History*, Jewelry Making*, Mahjongg*, Recipe Exchange*, Scrabble*, Stitching Divas*, Walkers*, and Wine Tasting*.

Our largest gathering is our monthly General Meeting Luncheon that includes a speaker or some form of entertainment.  Our speakers have included authors, artists, historical interpretive speakers and actors, and TV and radio personalities; while our entertainment has included whimsical barbershop quartets, Christmas sing a-longs, and bingo with prizes.  The luncheons include an informative short business meeting and provide an environment for education and fun with your fellow members. In 2020 we stayed connected through Zoom and were able to continue enjoying an array of speakers at our distanced General Meetings.
